

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for a Tender & Bid Manager to join a leading healthcare organization based in the UK. Our client is seeking an experienced professional to lead their tendering processes, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions that support the organization’s growth and strategic objectives. This is a full-time position ideal for someone with a proven background in managing complex tenders and bids within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills and process improvement focus.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Tender & Bid Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Lead the end-to-end management of healthcare tenders and bids, aligning proposals with organizational strategies and client requirements.
• Coordinate and draft comprehensive tender documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitive edge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical and commercial inputs, streamlining tender processes.
• Manage and develop a team or senior specialists, providing guidance and leadership in bid development.
• As the Tender & Bid Manager, you will facilitate stakeholder engagement, review processes, and optimize tender workflows for efficiency.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Tender & Bid Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tender/bid management or related commercial roles, with solid understanding of NHS procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and coordinate complex tenders/bids with a strong process-optimization mindset.
• Either a current people manager or a senior specialist with first leadership experience, with proven ability to manage stakeholders and coordinate teams effectively.
