UK - Information Scientist – Content Analytics

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Information Scientist - Content Analytics will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Design and implement workflows for literature mining, summarization, and trend analysis using AI/NLP tools.
  • Develop and maintain external information endpoints, ensuring FAIR principles and interoperability.
  • Apply machine learning and large language models to enhance content retrieval and automate classification.
  • Support pharmaceutical R&D processes through application of data lifecycle, metadata, and ontologies.
  • As the Information Scientist, you will act as a subject matter expert for AI-driven content analytics initiatives and support cross-functional collaboration.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Information Scientist - Content Analytics, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Data Science, Bioinformatics).
  • Proven experience or interest in NLP, LLM applications, or AI frameworks for text analytics, along with familiarity with data visualization and scientific communication tools.
  • Knowledge graph and ontology management skills, and an understanding of data governance and FAIR principles.
