ELRIG Drug Discovery 2025
What it’s about:
ELRIG’s Drug Discovery event is one of Europe’s leading scientific conferences focusing on the full spectrum of drug discovery and lab innovation. The programme includes tracks on:
- Translating ideas into therapies
- Chemical biology & omics
- Advanced models (in vitro, in silico)
- Robotics, automation, and lab technologies
- Sustainability and innovation in lab practices
There’s also an Exhibition Hall and a Breakthrough Zone for early-stage companies to showcase their platforms and innovations. Startups in the Breakthrough Zone may compete in the ELRIG Innovation Award and gain visibility via auditorium presentations.
ELRIG has announced two high-profile keynote speakers for Drug Discovery 2025:
- Prof. Heather Pinkett, delivering a session on “Targeting ABC Transporters: Structural Prediction and Computational Strategies Against AMR”
- Dr Dafydd Owen (Pfizer), presenting on “Drug Discovery During the Pandemic: The Discovery of PAXLOVID”
These sessions set the tone for deeper technical talks and panels exploring AI, novel modalities, translational biology, and lab automation.
