

ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to embark on an exciting year-long mission near the town of Pompey in France. As the Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining automation systems within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Automation Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Overseeing and optimising automation systems, including PLC/SCADA/Siemens S7/Tia Portal/WinCC/ifix systems, as well as managing industrial networks and fieldbus systems.
2. Implementing and managing virtual machines and virtualised environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and similar technologies.
3. Conducting document validation and managing product lifecycle using PLM tools.
4. Ensuring compliance with GMP and other pharmaceutical regulations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Automation Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in automation systems and industrial networks.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with virtual machines and virtualised environments.
4. Basic understanding of GMP and other pharmaceutical regulations.
