Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join a leading industrial company based in the Hoboken area. As the Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting both new construction and renovation projects with a significant civil engineering scope. This role offers the chance to work closely with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Project Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Provide technical leadership for civil projects, including design review, technical validation, and quality control.
2. Manage project execution by defining scope, developing planning, monitoring budgets, and coordinating resources.
3. Act as the central point of contact for civil works, liaising with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
4. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
2. Extensive industry experience in civil engineering with proven project management skills.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with concrete calculations, industrial steel structures, and structural calculation software.
