Construction Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to join their team in Belgium. As the Construction Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing and directing the execution of construction projects from the study phase through to project handover.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Construction Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Evaluate work requirements and costs during the study phase and develop work execution planning.

2. Define safety measures with the EHS team and ensure compliance with all regulations and worksite requirements.

3. Proactively communicate with the project team, including the Engineering Lead, Project Manager, and Subject Matter Experts.

4. Coordinate trades, set priorities, and ensure contractors comply with all necessary standards.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Construction Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field.

2. Extensive industry experience in construction or engineering.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with building, HVAC, piping, electrical/instrumentation, and DAO.
