

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer III to join a leading consultancy specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrical professional to become part of their dynamic team, contributing to innovative projects within industrial facilities that support groundbreaking advancements in life sciences.
Based in a flexible location, this role offers the chance to work on sophisticated electrical utility system designs for pharmaceutical and biotech plants, providing vital support to large-scale, high-quality projects. You will play a key role in leading electrical disciplines and ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering solutions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Electrical Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Serve as the discipline technical lead for major projects involving electrical utility system design and implementation.
• Prepare electrical engineering calculations, select and specify equipment, and develop detailed system schematics including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting and fire alarm plans, telecom, and data layouts.
• Provide technical support to ensure energy usage compliance, electrical safety, NEC standards, and system integrity through software tools such as SKM Power Tools and EasyPower.
• Conduct field investigations, verify system installations, offer construction support, and develop comprehensive construction specifications.
• As the Electrical Engineer, you will ensure that all electrical designs meet regulatory standards and project requirements, facilitating seamless implementation.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electrical Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven industry experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on cGMP design preferred.
• A working knowledge and practical experience with state building codes, industry standards, and software such as SKM Power Tools and EasyPower.
