We are currently looking for an I&C Lead – SCADA (Siemens) to join a leading life sciences company based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced I&C professional to contribute to a major construction project within the life sciences sector. The role offers a chance to lead design efforts and oversee a talented team in a dynamic and regulated environment, supporting the delivery of innovative solutions that support the client's biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing objectives.
As the I&C Lead, you will be instrumental in guiding system design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving project success from concept through commissioning.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the I&C Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Lead the design and development of I&C systems, with a strong focus on Siemens-based control platforms.
• Support I&C system selection, including hardware, software, and architecture aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 6 I&C engineers and designers, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.
• Support construction and commissioning readiness by ensuring I&C designs are buildable and well-sequenced.
• As the I&C Lead, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated control solutions aligned with GMP standards.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the I&C Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
• Proven extensive industry experience in I&C, ideally with Siemens platforms.
• Practical knowledge and experience working within life sciences, regulated manufacturing, or complex industrial environments.
