

ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading company in the industrial sector is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team based Eastern Belgium. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preparing, implementing, and validating new major projects and process improvements aimed at increasing plant capacity and efficiency, enhancing product quality, and ensuring optimal environmental, health, and safety conditions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Project Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Preparation, definition, and market investigation of project scope and functional requirements.
2. Detailed engineering, contractor and budget definition, and project approval administration.
3. Execution of projects including contractor selection, equipment procurement, supervision, budget control, and quality, safety, and environmental management.
4. Closure of projects including technical file creation, ensuring “As built” files are available, and guaranteeing necessary training for relevant personnel.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Industrial Engineering in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or equivalent.
2. Proven industry experience in project management.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with process improvements and engineering studies.
