

ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Process & Automation Lead to join a prestigious pharmaceutical company based in Belgium. As the Process & Automation Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale CAPEX projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, and driving consistency within the pharmaceutical industry.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Process & Automation Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Lead the engineering process area and act as the single point of contact for all process equipment from design to handover after verification.
2. Manage the integration of new equipment into the laboratory's automation environment and ensure consistency with the Pilot Plant's recipe.
3. Support qualification and validation activities, ensuring adherence to EHS regulations and green practices.
4. Perform field spot checks and organize quality checks before each technical milestone activity.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process & Automation Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in engineering or a related field.
2. Extensive industry experience in large-scale CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical sector.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with single-use systems, automation requirements, and regulatory standards.
