Our client is seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to join a leading Supply Chain company based in the Bayport, Texas area. As the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing indirect procurement activities, supplier relationships, and implementing global and regional procurement strategies at the site level.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Indirect Procurement Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Localise and execute regional/global category strategies tailored to Bayport’s operational needs.
2. Develop site-specific sourcing plans and risk assessments.
3. Drive competitive bidding and deliver cost avoidance and efficiency gains.
4. Implement standardised contract templates in collaboration with Legal.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Indirect Procurement Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP, Excel, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
