

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for an Internal Auditor with third-party auditing experience to join a leading organisation within the assurance and standards sector, based anywhere in Australia. Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to support their ongoing assessment and compliance activities, ensuring standards are upheld across various industries. This role has been open for some time, underscoring the importance of selecting the right candidate who can contribute effectively to their team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Internal Auditor will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Conduct third-party audits aligned with established standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001, or their combinations, ensuring compliance and effective reporting.
- Review and verify audit reports, maintaining high quality and accuracy.
- Assist in the ongoing review of report-writing activities and support internal processes to optimise audit workflows.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the audit process.
- As the Internal Auditor, you will ensure adherence to relevant standards, communicate findings clearly, and support the continuous improvement of the organisation’s certification activities.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Internal Auditor we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent)
• Proven third-party auditing credentials with experience in standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 45001
• Demonstrated experience in audit report writing, compliance, and process review across various sectors
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and clients
