We are currently looking for a Senior Food Auditor to join a leading food industry company based in Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned food safety professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality management across a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will take on a pivotal position within a dynamic organisation, supporting continuous improvement and compliance in the food sector.
As a Senior Food Auditor, you will be instrumental in verifying management systems, conducting detailed audits, and providing expert advice to clients. This role offers a fantastic chance to leverage your expertise in a collaborative environment, helping to enhance safety standards within the food industry.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Senior Food Auditor will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Verification of management systems in the food industry, both individually and as part of a team.
- Examination and assessment of quality management systems to ensure compliance and improvement.
- Acting as a sparring partner for key accounts, delivering audits and providing expert advice.
- Contributing to the development of our client's services and enhancing collaboration with clients.
- As the Senior Food Auditor, you will foster strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality audits and consultancy.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Food Auditor we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in food industry (e.g., process and/or technology).
- Extensive industry experience in quality management and food safety.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with third-party auditing qualifications such as IFS Food, BRC Food, and ISO 22000.
