KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Design Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Lead and manage the delivery of all design activities within the assigned business stream, ensuring sufficient resource allocation and practical design outputs.
2. Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Design Process documentation, ensuring it supports efficient manufacturing and installation processes.
3. Maintain structured development plans and regular performance discussions for all Design Team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Work collaboratively with other Design Managers to ensure aligned processes and consistent departmental management across all business streams.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Design Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a design or engineering-related field.
2. Proven industry experience in managing design projects within the manufacturing sector (and ideally within the life sciences/pharma/biotech space).
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with design software platforms such as Revit and digital workflows.
