Maintenance Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading company in the Pharmaceutical industry, based in Hertfordshire, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team. As the Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continual development of equipment within the Engineering Department, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Undertake maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of production and utility equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and practices.

2. Provide technical support and effective problem-solving to the manufacturing team, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.

3. Maintain and utilise regulatory and non-regulatory documentation, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

4. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures through innovation, teamwork, and adherence to safe working practices.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Maintenance Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in an engineering discipline or a formal qualification in at least one other engineering discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in performing engineering and maintenance activities to a high standard on pharmaceutical utilities and associated equipment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP standards, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and the ability to work under pressure in complex conditions.
