A leading company in the scientific sector is seeking a Principal Scientist to join their dynamic team in Kent. This role offers a unique blend of strategic influence and hands-on laboratory work, perfect for those looking to make a significant impact in their field.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Principal Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Lead and guide the scientific direction across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with scientific and commercial goals.
2. Develop and validate methods using advanced chromatography techniques, including HPLC and MS.
3. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and professional integrity.
4. Build strong client relationships and contribute to proposals and marketing materials.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Principal Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant PhD or postgraduate experience demonstrating deep scientific expertise.
2. Proven industry experience in CRO, biotech, or pharma environments.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with method development and validation.
