Data Integrity Specialist

We are recruiting a Data Integrity Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in County Waterford. In this role, you will be responsible for embedding data integrity principles across site operations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that all regulatory and internal policies are consistently met. You will act as a key point of contact for data integrity compliance, contributing to both inspection readiness and site-wide assurance activities.

This is an initial 12 month contract with possible extension. We are only able to consider candidates available to contract 5 days per week, hybrid working can be offered.
 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Data Integrity Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • As the Data Integrity Specialist, you will ensure that data integrity compliance is maintained across all site functions by implementing best practices and regulatory standards.
  • As the Data Integrity Specialist, you will conduct routine data quality checks, validations, and investigations into any anomalies or breaches, and implementing CAPA where necessary.
  • As the Data Integrity Specialist, you will develop, deliver, and maintain training programs on data integrity principles and practices for relevant staff.
  • As the Data Integrity Specialist, you willl lead risk assessments related to data integrity and putting mitigation strategies in place to address potential issues.
  • As the Data Integrity Specialist, you will oversee the validation and review of computerized systems to ensure they meet all data integrity requirements.
  • As the Data Integrity Specialist, you will support regulatory inspections, participate in audits, and ensure inspection readiness through detailed documentation and reporting.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Data Integrity Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant scientific or quality discipline (e.g., Pharmaceutical Science, Quality Assurance, Quality Management).
  • Proven experience in managing data integrity within a regulated environment, with a strong understanding of compliance and validation processes.
  • Experience leading audits, investigations, and corrective actions related to data integrity issues.
