Back to Job SearchWe are currently looking for a Global Electricity Expert to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Walloon Region, Belgium. This is an opportunity for a senior electrical engineering professional to become a key technical reference within a global multidisciplinary team supporting international engineering projects.
Based in a hybrid working environment, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in defining and maintaining global electrical standards, supporting CAPEX projects, and ensuring compliance with safety, sustainability, and engineering best practices across multiple locations worldwide.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Global Electricity Expert will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the Electrical Expert, you will act as the global electrical subject matter expert for low and medium voltage systems, providing technical guidance across international projects and sites.
- As the Electrical Expert, you will define, develop, maintain, and monitor global electrical engineering standards and best practices.
- As the Electrical Expert, you will support engineering CAPEX projects from feasibility studies through conceptual design phases.
- As the Electrical Expert, you will review designs and ensure compliance with relevant standards such as cGxP, EHS, and company procedures.
- As the Electrical Expert, you will develop and promote innovative electrical strategies aligned with safety, security, and operational excellence.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Global Electricity Expert we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Power Systems, Electrical Design, or related field).
- Proven senior-level expertise supporting large, complex international engineering projects in regulated environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
- Experience developing technical standards, engineering guidelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
- As the Global Electricity Expert, you will have full professional proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
