

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for a Process Development Scientist to join a leading organization specializing in vaccine and medicine delivery solutions. This role is based within a dynamic R&D environment where your scientific expertise will directly contribute to the development of scalable manufacturing processes for innovative solid dose formulations. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Process Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- To perform laboratory-based process development experiments aimed at establishing efficient, scalable manufacturing methods for solid dose formulations.
- Plan, execute, record, and report experimental work accurately and efficiently to support project milestones.
- Analyse and interpret data, drafting protocols and technical reports to communicate findings clearly.
- Support batch manufacturing activities in the laboratory for internal and external projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- As the Process Development Scientist you will coordinate activities across teams, share scientific insights proactively, and maintain traceable documentation within a quality system.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Development Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in relevant material science / pharmaceutical engineering.
- Proven experience in formulation and process development of solid dosage forms, with at least 2 years' lab experience in an R&D environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as powder blending and tableting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GMP standards and maintaining traceable documentation is advantageous.
