

A leading organisation in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Visual Inspection Specialist to join their team in the Walloon region, Belgium. As the Process Equipment Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of visual inspection technologies within a major aseptic unit project.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Process Equipment Lead Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Process Equipment Lead Engineer, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for visual inspection technologies, ensuring compliance with EU GMP Annex 1 and integrating advanced digital tools such as image analytics and AI/ML.
2. As the Process Equipment Lead Engineer, you will lead the design, commissioning, qualification, and verification of visual inspection systems, ensuring ergonomic compliance and defect detection capabilities.
3. As the Process Equipment Lead Engineer, you will ensure regulatory and quality compliance by maintaining defect libraries, supporting risk assessments, and implementing data integrity principles.
4. As the Process Equipment Lead Engineer, you will drive digitalisation by integrating visual inspection systems with MES/eBR and deploying AI/ML algorithms for defect detection under Pharma 4.0 principles.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Process Equipment Lead Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Engineering, Automation, Optics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field.
2. Extensive industry experience in pharmaceutical visual inspection systems and aseptic operations.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with automated vision systems, defect classification, and regulatory compliance.
