

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for an ASME Authorized Inspector to join a leading provider of risk management and certification services, based in the energy, aerospace, and industrial sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to represent our client in ensuring compliance and safety standards across diverse industrial and offshore environments.
This role offers the chance to play a crucial part in maintaining industry safety and quality standards while working with a globally recognized organization committed to sustainability and innovation. You'll be tasked with inspecting equipment and components, working closely with clients to meet rigorous standards and regulations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the ASME Authorized Inspector will be varied; however, the key responsibilities are as follows:
- Carry out detailed inspections of equipment and components used in industry and offshore markets, ensuring compliance with ASME, international standards, and European Directives.
- Manage customer expectations from initial clarification of needs through to the issuance of product certificates.
- Conduct routine inspections and manage small-scale projects within the Belgium territory.
- Regularly visit clients across Belgium, representing our client professionally to maintain strong communication, gather feedback for continuous improvement, and promote our inspection and certification services.
- As the ASME Authorized Inspector, you will ensure all inspections are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently, consistently upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the ASME Authorized Inspector, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) and equivalent to a Chartered Engineer.
- Proven minimum of 5 years' experience in the inspection industry, with sound knowledge in welding, materials, and NDT techniques.
- Valuable knowledge and understanding of Pressure Vessel Regulations, including EC Directives (e.g., PED 2014/68/EU, AD2000).
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in French and Dutch languages.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence customers positively.
