Project Engineer

We are recruiting a Project Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the County Waterford area. As the Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in executing a range of GMP facility upgrades and cleanroom construction projects within a highly regulated environment.

This is an initially a 12 month contract with likely extension.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Project Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Project Engineer, you will oversee all elements of assigned projects, including schedule, cost, scope, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
2. As the Project Engineer, you will act as the GMP and Cleanroom Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with EU GMP Annex 1 and FDA guidelines
3. As the Project Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and track project schedules, identifying and communicating delays.
4. As the Project Engineer, you will ensure all works are planned and executed safely under the Safe Systems of Work.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related discipline).
2. Proven industry experience in engineering project delivery within pharmaceutical or biotech GMP environments.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with cleanroom construction, commissioning, and qualification.
