

Business Development Manager – Licensing (Biologics / Antibody Assets)
Greater Boston Area (On-site with travel)
HRS are partnering with a high-growth, research-driven biotech organisation to appoint a Business Development Manager focused on licensing and strategic partnerships.
This is a high-impact role working at the intersection of science and deal-making, supporting the out-licensing and co-development of innovative biologics assets across multiple therapeutic areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and establish licensing and partnership opportunities with biotech and pharma organisations
- Lead the evaluation of external opportunities, building robust business cases and strategic recommendations
- Drive transaction execution including proposals, negotiations, and deal closure
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across scientific and corporate teams
- Manage ongoing partnerships and support alliance development
- Represent the organisation at industry and partnering conferences
What we’re looking for:
- PhD in life sciences (e.g. immunology, pharmacology, oncology or related)
- Strong understanding of biologics/antibody drug discovery and development
- Experience in business development, licensing, or strategic partnerships
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear commercial narratives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Additional language skills are advantageous
