KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the CAD Designer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Drawing electrical layouts for buildings, panels, lighting, and power using standard symbols for specific projects.
2. Modifying client drawings using AutoCAD, including general arrangements, wiring diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.
3. Applying technical knowledge in construction, manufacturing, control system design, and electrical engineering.
4. Collaborating with the project team for engineering support and problem-solving.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the CAD Designer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design in electrical or an equivalent degree.
2. Proven industry experience with tools and parts necessary for specific projects, including expertise in AutoCAD 2024 or higher and AutoCAD Electrical.
3. A working knowledge of the fundamentals of electricity and the ability to apply NFPA and NEC standards to designs.
