

ROLE OVERVIEW
Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a dynamic role in Devon? This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary per annum, including a generous shift premium, plus bonus and significant benefits. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Provide comprehensive, multi-skilled support to the Manufacturing department, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and modification of electrical and mechanical equipment.
2. Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to improve machinery efficiency, reliability, and performance, minimising downtime.
3. Liaise with contractors, engineering specialists, manufacturers, and parts suppliers to ensure efficient and high-quality results.
4. Maintain high levels of compliance with corporate, statutory, and good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements, including environmental, health and safety (EHS), OPEX, and process/validation standards.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Maintenance Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related engineering discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in a similar engineering maintenance role, ideally in a highly regulated ‘clean room’ environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with current regulations, databases, work-based systems, and the Microsoft Office suite.
