Master Data Management Consultant

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Senior Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Governance Consultant to join a leading Life Sciences company based in the Sanford, NC area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take a lead role in shaping and delivering data management strategies at a critical, regulated manufacturing site. As a key member of the team, you will enhance data integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement scalable data solutions to support current and future site requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Senior Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Governance Consultant will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Define and implement a site-level Master Data Governance operating model, establishing data standards, ownership, and stewardship for critical systems.
• Enable regulatory-compliant data integrity (FDA, EMA, PMDA) and support Azure Integration Services–based data interfaces between critical systems.
• Develop a scalable MDM template reusable for future sites, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory milestones.
• Perform current-state assessment and gap analysis, identifying data duplication, inconsistencies, and regulatory risks.
• As the Senior MDM & Data Governance Consultant, you will lead the development and execution of data strategies to support compliance and operational excellence.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Governance Consultant we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

• A Degree or higher level in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Data Management, Information Systems)
• Proven extensive industry experience in MDM, Data Governance, and Data Integrity within regulated Life Sciences environments
• Practical knowledge and experience with ERP–MES–LIMS–QMS master data integration and federated master data models
