

We are currently looking for a Scientist - Chromatography to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Scientist - Chromatography, you will be responsible for driving innovation within the Bioprocess Analytics and Automation group, part of the R&D Protein and Process Analytics department.
This role is an initial 12 month contract with possibility of extension thereafter.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Scientist - Chromatography will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Scientist - Chromatography, you will plan and execute scientific activities for target projects, including laboratory work, scientific writing and review, testing of new technologies, and method development.
2. As the Scientist - Chromatography, you will perform a range of analysis using purification techniques, impurity testing, and other relevant methods. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
3. As the Scientist - Chromatography, you will analyse and interpretation of complex data and presentation to internal stakeholders.
4. As the Scientist - Chromatography, you will execute and reporting of analytical studies, and communication with the project team.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Scientist - Chromatography we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in life sciences or equivalent, preferably in Biochemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology.
2. Proven industry experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with chromatography (RP, HILIC, SEC, IEX), capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS, icIEF), and other relevant techniques for protein analysis.
