

We are currently looking for a Project Control Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Surrey area. As the Project Control Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring robust, transparent, and reliable project control for large capital projects within the engineering, sites, and facilities department.
This is a site based role in Surrey, inside IR35 via an Umbrella company and an initial 6 month contract.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Project Control Lead will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Project Control Lead, you will oversee cost control, risk management, change management, and progress measurement to ensure projects meet their planned objectives.
2. As the Project Control Lead, you will proactively question and challenge project teams, validate project metrics, and identify discrepancies or risks before they impact the project.
3. As the Project Control Lead, you will recommend improvements and take initiative to prevent deviations from planned objectives.
4. As the Project Control Lead, you will provide analytical foundation and insights needed to secure project success, from financial predictability to timeline adherence and scope integrity.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Project Control Lead, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.
2. Proven industry experience in project/cost control within the pharmaceutical or a related industry.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Planisware.
