

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Facilities and Warehouse Technician to join a leading biopharmaceutical organisation committed to cGMP compliance and operational excellence. This role offers a dynamic environment where warehouse management meets facilities support, ensuring that materials, equipment, and maintenance activities are executed seamlessly and in line with regulatory standards.
Based within a fast-paced, quality-driven setting, the Senior Warehouse & Facilities Technician will play a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting site maintenance, and overseeing contractor activities. This multifaceted role ensures the smooth operation of both warehousing and facilities functions, contributing to the overall success of our client’s operational goals.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Senior Facilities and Warehouse Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, logging, and storage of all incoming goods, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory control of materials, consumables, and facility-related stock using approved systems.
- Ensure proper labelling, segregation, and storage conditions for all materials, including hazardous substances.
- Coordinate the movement, staging, and distribution of materials to internal departments in a timely manner.
- Support stock management, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and assisting procurement and reordering activities.
- Assist in the operation and upkeep of the facility, maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and audit readiness.
- Provide flexible support to Facilities operations, including routine maintenance, site inspections, and contractor supervision.
- As the Senior Warehouse & Facilities Technician, you will oversee external contractors, coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and manage relevant documentation to ensure compliance.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Facilities and Warehouse Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, logistics, facilities management).
• Proven experience working within a cGMP-regulated warehouse, manufacturing, or facilities environment, ideally with knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, record keeping, and inventory accuracy.
• Good understanding of hazardous materials handling, COSHH awareness, and safety procedures.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols, including Permit-to-Work and contractor supervision.
