

We are currently recruiting a Construction Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction management team, ensuring the successful delivery of capital construction projects and oversee a shutdown team.
This is a contract initially until Mid-September 2026, with potential extension.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Construction Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Construction Manager, you will lead the shutdown team of Mechanical, Electrical, and CSA Supervisors, while also overseeing the construction management team.
2. As the Construction Manager, you will develop roles and responsibilities matrix for the construction management team.
3. As the Construction Manager, you will create and implement EHS systems and processes to support the safe delivery of capital construction projects.
4. As the Construction Manager, you will develop quality systems and processes to ensure high-quality construction and installation of capital projects.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Construction Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in managing construction projects.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with EHS and quality systems in construction.
