

We are currently looking for a Global Physical Asset Manager dedicated to Utilities & MEP to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Walloon Region, Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of utility and MEP systems, such as HVAC, water, and electrical infrastructure.
As the Global Physical Asset Manager you will be driving asset health, risk mitigation, and strategic investment planning. As part of a dynamic team supporting diverse operational environments, you will play a key part in safeguarding asset reliability and fostering continuous improvement in asset management practices.
This is an initial 6 month mission with likely extension and the available budget is €640-720 per day. This mission can offer hybrid working but some flexibility is appreciated depending on activities for the week.

- As the Global Physical Asset Manager you will oversee and analyze the condition of the utility and MEP asset fleet through technical assessments and data analysis to inform maintenance and investment strategies.
- As the Global Physical Asset Manager you will identify technical, safety, and business risks associated with asset performance and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues.
- As the Global Physical Asset Manager you will Build, prioritize, and refine investment plans (CAPEX/OPEX) aligned with operational needs and strategic goals, ensuring optimal lifecycle management.
- As the Global Physical Asset Manager you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including engineering, business units, and project management—to align budgets, priorities, and asset strategies.
- As the Global Physical Asset Manager you will act as the primary point of contact for asset-related initiatives, providing technical and financial expertise for decision-making.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Global Physical Asset Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering).
- Proven, relevant experience in utilities and MEP asset management, with specific experience in the pharma or biologics industry being mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to connect technical expertise with financial considerations such as CAPEX and OPEX, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Experience in lifecycle and risk management of technical assets, with strong communication and influencing skills to effectively defend budgets and strategies.
- Fluency in both French and English, with excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
