Back to Job SearchWe are currently seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Designer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Walloon region. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a dynamic team managing a high volume of diverse projects, from laboratory revamps to building connections and equipment power supplies.
This role offers the chance to work on a variety of electrical design tasks that require technical maturity, autonomy, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will be integral to supporting project execution, collaborating with multiple teams, and delivering precise Electrical CAD documentation to meet complex project needs.
This is an initial 12 month mission and can pay between 450-500€ per day.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Electrical CAD Designer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the Electrical CAD Designer you will, manage the design, update, and control of electrical CAD documentation across a broad portfolio of industrial and pharmaceutical site projects.
- As the Electrical CAD Designer you will, produce, validate, and maintain electrical drawings, manage graphical databases, and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- As the Electrical CAD Designer you will, collaborate closely with engineering teams, external partners, and stakeholders to challenge technical requests and propose effective solutions.
- As the Electrical CAD Designer you will, perform site measurements, assist in design reviews, and support project implementation from concept through to as-built documentation.
- As the Electrical CAD Designer you will, handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring data consistency, Electrical CAD standards adherence, and efficient communication with cross-functional teams.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the CAD Designer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in electrical CAD design within industrial or pharmaceutical sectors, with strong expertise in EPLAN and ElecCalc.
- Ability to challenge technical requirements, propose solutions, and manage multiple projects with autonomy and precision.
- Fluency in French and English (B2-C1) to navigate technical documents and participate in meetings.
- On-site presence is required, with the ability and authorization to access electrical panels (BA4-level access or equivalent).
- Proficiency with CAD tools, standards management, and data integrity practices.
