We are currently looking for a Site Head of Quality to join a leading organisation in the pharmaceutical industry based in the US. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Quality professional to play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the site quality system to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and cGMP requirements across multiple global regions.
As the Site Head of Quality, you will be instrumental in providing technical and strategic oversight, supporting overall quality operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead key quality activities including GMP compliance, laboratory management, and supporting plant functions related to new product introductions and process changes.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Site Head of Quality will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Provide technical and quality oversight, supporting the VP of Quality Operations in making critical quality decisions.
• Ensure comprehensive GMP compliance by overseeing quality activities from material dispensing through to final product dispatch.
• Guide and manage microbiological and chemistry laboratories, ensuring adherence to global standards.
• Support plant management on new products, changes to existing products, and process modifications to maintain consistent quality assurance and meet regulatory requirements.
• As the Site Head of Quality, you will lead, develop, and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Site Head of Quality we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
• A Degree or higher level in Science, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive industry experience in quality operations within the pharmaceutical, biologics, or medical devices sectors.
• Proven experience in managing quality systems and leading quality assurance teams.
