

ROLE OVERVIEW
An exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join a leading specialist in global laboratory relocation and lab space project management. Our client, a science-led business headquartered in the Northwest of England, is seeking a talented sales leader to take ownership of their revenue growth and business development efforts across their international operations. This remote role offers the chance to influence strategy and build a high-performing sales function within a niche, high-value market focused on science and laboratory environments.
In this pivotal position, you will drive the company’s sales targets, develop strategic relationships within the life sciences sector, and shape the future of the sales team as the business expands. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Head of Sales will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Own and deliver the company’s sales targets across relocation and project management services, ensuring revenue growth.
- Manage and convert inbound enquiries promptly while proactively identifying outbound opportunities through intelligence tools and your network.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, ensuring long-term growth.
- Leverage existing relationships within the life sciences, pharma, biotech, and academic sectors, whilst developing new strategic partnerships.
- As the Head of Sales, you will represent the business at industry events, client meetings, and tender submissions, establishing credibility and trust within your sector.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Head of Sales we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotech, Laboratory Management).
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the life sciences, pharma, biotech, or laboratory environments.
- An existing network within research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, or academia.
- Highly motivated and autonomous, with strong relationship-building skills at senior levels, including procurement and C-suite contacts.
