Manufacturing Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Ohio area. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with technical expertise in CNC machining to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in production processes. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting, developing, and optimising CNC operations to drive efficiency, safety, and quality.

In this role, you will work collaboratively across departments to troubleshoot issues, improve machining workflows, and help implement innovative manufacturing solutions that meet customer and company standards.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Manufacturing Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide technical leadership and support for CNC machining processes, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with operations to develop and manage CAD/CAM programs, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to CNC machining, toolpath strategies, and machine performance.
  • Optimise cutting parameters and toolpaths to improve machining speed and quality.
  • As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will assist in setting up and validating new CNC programs and processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Manufacturing Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in an engineering field.
  • Proven industry experience with CNC machining, programming, and process optimisation.
  • Practical knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC simulation tools, with demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
