

ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of a sustainable reliability program aimed at reducing reliability risks of manufacturing equipment. This role involves tracking production losses, identifying high maintenance costs, and implementing projects to mitigate these issues through robust root cause analysis. You will collaborate closely with Production, Projects, Facilities, and Engineering teams to ensure optimal efficiency of equipment and assets, while developing effective reliability processes.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Reliability Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Support the continued development of the reliability program and implement it in line with cGMP and GEP standards, engaging Engineering, Production, and Quality teams in the journey towards World Class asset management.
2. Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could negatively impact plant or business operations, ensuring the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.
3. Provide hands-on technical engineering support, training, and coaching in relevant aspects of equipment performance, and be involved in the design and installation stages of projects for new and modified assets to ensure ongoing reliability.
4. Conduct analyses of assets, including Asset Utilisation, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, TEEP, remaining useful life, and other parameters defining operating condition, reliability, and costs of assets, while developing engineering solutions to reduce repetitive failures and other operational problems.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Relevant degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience with a variety of assets such as pumps, motors, centrifuges, and vessels, with a mechanical bias.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience in a GMP or manufacturing environment.
