Senior Scientist - Antibody Drug Development

Scientist / Senior Scientist – Antibody Engineering & Drug Discovery
Greater Boston Area (On-site)

HRS are partnering with a high-growth, innovation-led biotech organisation to appoint a Scientist / Senior Scientist within their antibody discovery and engineering team.

This is a key role focused on advancing therapeutic biologics from early-stage discovery through optimisation, working across a diverse pipeline of targets and disease areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and execute strategies to progress antibody candidates from discovery to development readiness
  • Apply advanced antibody engineering techniques to improve affinity, specificity, stability, and developability
  • Evaluate lead molecules for binding, function, and therapeutic potential
  • Lead projects end-to-end, managing timelines, resources, and key milestones
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across discovery, CMC, and commercial teams
  • Present data and insights to internal stakeholders and external partners

What we’re looking for:

  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related
  • Strong expertise in antibody engineering, optimisation, and target biology
  • Experience progressing biologics candidates through early development stages
  • Proven ability to independently drive projects in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting complex data
