Planning and Logistics Team Leader

We are currently looking for a Planning and Logistics Team Leader to join a leading Chemicals company based in the Cheshire area. As the Planning and Logistics Team Leader you will be at the forefront of managing the sites logistics supply, aligning demand with capacity, and ensuring stock policies are meticulously maintained within business guidelines.

As the Planning and Logistics Team Leader, you will adeptly handle escalations, ensuring the Customer Relations team receives timely responses. Your role is critical in managing the allocation and shortage process in collaboration with Customer Relations and Sales, guaranteeing the departments actions are aligned with customer needs.

1. Manage and review site logistics supply, demand against capacity, and stock policies.

2. Appraise and coach the Logistics day team, fostering professional development.

3. Analyse stock levels, align production with sales forecasts, and produce monthly stock reports.

4. Devise and implement system and process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.

To be successful in your application as the Planning and Logistics Team Leader, the following should resonate with your profile and history:

1. Extensive knowledge of SAP processes in Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, and Materials Management.

2. Proficiency in MS Office packages.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with site manufacturing, processes, products, tollers, and suppliers.

4. Excellent communication skills.
