Role Overview

We are currently looking for a QC Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Co Waterford area. As the QC Chemist you will be responsible for providing analytical chemistry support in line with GMP.

This role is site based and the contract is for an initial 12 months, with likely extension.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the QC Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the QC Chemist, you will be responsible for maintaining, updating and issuing chemical methods, specifications and SOP’s in line with cGMP.

2. As the QC Chemist, you will be responsible for using analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC and GC.

3. As the QC Chemist, you will ensure all quality documentation and records are complete and any out of spec results recorded in line with cGMP.

4. As the QC Chemist, you will have ideally worked in GMP or Chemistry testing environment for at least 1-2 years.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Pharmaceutical Science / Chemistry / Pharmaceutical degree.

2. Proven industry experience in a QC or Chemistry Lab testing environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC and GC.
