Senior Mechanical Engineer - Arizona

Hyper Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an exclusive southwest manufacture based in Arizona who are expanding there engineering teams due to extensive project expansion. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be managing & supervising mechanical maintenance repairs, & performance design changes for steam & gas turbines. Along with major rotating equipment & other equipment as assigned.

Your duties as the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the success Senior Mechanical Engineer you will provide general mechanical engineering support for plant operations, maintenance & planning. Function as project engineer for plant improvement & capital projects.

2. Extensive experience in budgeting, writing work scopes & repair procedures. Whilst evaluating turbine &rotating mechanical performance & problems.

3. Manage, & supervise corrections to all turbine &rotating equipment problems. As well as providing mentorship to junior engineers in the team.

4. Provide mechanical & engineering expertise for design changes, which improve heat rate & reduce operating & maintenance costs.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Mechanical Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile & past history:

1. Degree - Mechanical Engineering

2. Must have experience either working with (Steam/Gas) turbines, and/or rotating equipment

3. Strong experience in equipment & system engineering & troubleshooting.
