Role Overview
Hyper Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a global manufacture who are seeking an Automation Technician to perform maintenance & repair on manufacturing equipment including automation & inspection equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Automation Technician will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows:
1. Electrical & mechanical responsibilities to service & maintain complex industrial equipment & control systems.
2. Responsible for troubleshooting problems which arise in the systems & make sure that they are back in proper working order.
3. Troubleshoot, analyze & inspect, disassemble & rebuild, modify, train & test factory machinery & equipment. Must diagnose & correct errors that occur & the root cause.
4. Ability to interpret blueprints & schematics to maintain & repair equipment.
5. Working knowledge & experience in areas such as mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, & PLC controlled, servo driven manufacturing equipment, automation systems, vision systems, & robotics

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Automation Technician, GA we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering, automation, robotics technology or equivalent.
2. Hands on experience with troubleshooting & debugging of industrial components & equipment.
3. Experience with machine controls system, i.e., PLC programming, Ladder logic, Micrologix, SLC, RSLogix, Ethernet I/O, IAI robots, vision system, PanelView, etc.
