Electrical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Electrical Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for providing Expert Electrical Support to the Site Engineering team on all Electrical systems within a Pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.

This is an initial 6 month contract with likely extension up to 2 years.

Your duties as the Electrical Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Electrical Engineer, you will support the development and execution of reliability-centred maintenance tasks, troubleshooting on each system and detailed root cause analysis of any failures alongside a more hands on Electrical Engineer.

2. As the Electrical Engineer, you will demonstrate excellent knowledge of Atex directives, Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) and Lighting Systems. Some knowledge of Electrical Control Systems would be an advantage.

3. As the Electrical Engineer you will support routine Maintenance work on all manufacturing areas from an Electrical perspective.

4. As the Electrical Engineer, you will assist Site Engineering leadership in delegation of work to the team and provide technical guidance where required.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Electrical Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree/Apprenticeship in an Electrical Engineering related field.

2. Proven experience working in a GMP Manufacturing environment.

3. Working Knowledge and practical experience working as an Electrical biased maintenance engineer maintaining Plant facilities and Utilities.
