Process Engineering Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineering Manager to join a Global Speciality Chemical Manufacturing business based in the East Riding of Yorkshire area. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager you will manage a team of Process Engineers, delivering ongoing process and plant support, alongside supporting the site’s capital investment programme. The site operates as an Upper Tier COMAH site.

Your duties as the Process Engineering Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will lead the Process Engineering team in the design and execution of multiple projects varying in complexity and time-scale.

2. As the Process Engineering Manager, you will have in depth knowledge of Process Safety Management to support the site in liaising with statutory authorities.

3. This is a cross-functional position, liaising with other off-site teams, supporting the introduction of new products and technologies.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Process Engineering Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Your will hold a relevant degree qualification within a Process or Chemical Engineering discipline.

2. Proven management experience of a team of engineers, preferably Process and/or Chemical Engineers.

3. Proven experience in Process Safety Management and experience working within a Chemical Unit Manufacturing environment. Preferably a Top Tier COMAH site.
